Ludovit Reis Transfer from Hamburger SV to Club Brugge

Ludovit Reis is set to transfer from Hamburger SV to Club Brugge. The Dutch midfielder has a four-year contract waiting for him at Club Brugge, and the transfer fee is around five million euros. Reis, a former Dutch youth international, has previously played for FC Barcelona's youth team and broke through at FC Groningen before moving to HSV.

Club Brugge has shown interest in acquiring Ludovit Reis from HSV. The 24-year-old Dutch midfielder has been performing impressively in the second Bundesliga. Although his contract with HSV is valid until 2026, no advancements have been made in extending it, despite HSV's hopes to do so. Club Brugge intends to use Reis's current contract situation as leverage to negotiate a reduced transfer fee, particularly since they can offer the appeal of European football. Reports from BILD indicate that Club Brugge has already started discussions with Reis's representatives to facilitate his transfer in the upcoming summer. With a market value of 3.5 million euros, Reis was previously signed by HSV on a free transfer after his time with FC Barcelona and a loan spell at Osnabrück. Club Brugge's pursuit of Reis is part of their strategy to prepare for potential changes in their midfield, as they foresee the possible departures of Raphael Onyedika and/or Ardon Jashari, creating an opportunity for Reis to join their squad.
