Louis Munteanu has attracted interest from clubs in the Arab region. While CFR Cluj has not yet received an official proposal, scouts from these clubs have been investigating Munteanu's situation and history. The potential offers are estimated to range between 5 million and 10 million euros, influenced by various factors such as performances in European competitions, although CFR Cluj did not qualify for the group stage this season. An agent, who was approached by teams from Saudi Arabia, confirmed the interest and mentioned the possibility of future negotiations.
Louis Munteanu has attracted interest from a club in Major League Soccer (MLS), USA. CFR Cluj received an initial offer of 4.5 million euros, which they rejected. The offer was then increased to 6 million euros, but the majority shareholder of CFR Cluj, Neluțu Varga, was not satisfied and is demanding at least 8 million euros for the striker.
Louis Munteanu is being monitored since joining CFR Cluj. Cristi Balaj, the president of CFR Cluj, expressed his desire for Munteanu to stay at least until summer, as he has helped the club remain in the title race. Balaj avoided commenting on potential offers for Munteanu to prevent speculation.
