Lorenzo Insigne Transfer from Toronto to Olympiakos Piraeus
Lorenzo Insigne continues to be a potential target for Olympiakos. Italian reporter Orazio Accomando reported that Olympiakos maintains an interest in Lorenzo Insigne, who is keen on returning to Europe. The Greek club is looking to acquire the former Napoli captain, whose contract with Toronto FC extends until the summer of 2026. At 33 years old, Insigne has previously been a target for Olympiakos, as indicated in reports from early January in Italy. Insigne has played 63 matches for Toronto FC, scoring 18 goals and providing 13 assists. His contract with Toronto FC is notably valued at 15 million euros, making it the second most expensive in the club's history after Lionel Messi's. Although Olympiakos is interested, Cagliari has also made efforts to bring Insigne back to Italy, and Turkish clubs have expressed interest too, with their transfer window closing on February 11.
