Levi García Transfer from AEK Athens to Feyenoord
Feyenoord has expressed significant interest in acquiring AEK Athens striker Levi García, according to reports from Greek media outlet Sporttime. The club is reportedly close to finalizing a transfer agreement. Social media sources indicate that Feyenoord has extended a substantial offer for García, suggesting that a deal is on the verge of completion. Levi García, a 27-year-old striker from Trinidad & Tobago, is valued at fifteen million euros and is contracted with AEK until the summer of 2028. Reports describe the sale of García as nearly complete. It is suggested that the striker is poised to depart AEK for a fee of 22 million euros, although it remains uncertain whether Feyenoord is the club offering this amount. Feyenoord's financial position has been bolstered by Santiago Gimenez's forthcoming transfer to AC Milan, which is set to bring in 32 million euros plus bonuses.
Initial rumors had suggested that Feyenoord was the club proposing a deal to AEK for Levi Garcia, with expectations that they would soon sell Mexican forward Santiago Giménez to Milan. However, it appeared unlikely that Feyenoord would propose an amount that would meet AEK's expectations for Levi's transfer. The situation was further complicated by interest from clubs in France and England, with Rennes from France having previously offered 15 million euros, an offer that AEK rejected. Despite the various interests, Levi Garcia did not accompany AEK for their upcoming match, which indicated that negotiations might be ongoing. Additionally, AEK had approached Beitar to buy out the remaining 40% stake in Garcia, in an effort to maximize their earnings from any potential transfer.
