Lequincio Zeefuik Transfer from AZ to OH Leuven
Lequincio Zeefuik has already joined OH Leuven as their first winter signing.
Lequincio Zeefuik is set to complete the season in Belgium, according to Voetbal International, citing remarks from Jong AZ coach Leeroy Echteld before their game against Jong Ajax. Although it was initially speculated that Cercle Brugge would be his destination, the twenty-year-old striker is actually being loaned to OH Leuven. Echteld told ESPN that Zeefuik was being loaned out and would not be able to play, mentioning it was a 'Belgian club', which led to the assumption of Cercle Brugge. However, it was later confirmed by VI that it is OH Leuven. OH Leuven, currently placed eleventh in the Jupiler Pro League, will have Zeefuik until the end of the season. Zeefuik moved to AZ from FC Volendam in the winter of 2024 but has had limited opportunities in the first team due to the presence of Troy Parrott, resulting in him mainly playing for Jong AZ in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.
