Lennart Grill leaving FC Union Berlin?
Union Berlin has loaned Lennart Grill to Greuther Fürth, terminating his loan to Eintracht Braunschweig early so that the goalkeeper can gain match practice at Greuther Fürth until the end of the season. With the arrival of Ron-Thorben Hoffmann, Grill would have been the third-choice goalkeeper in Braunschweig. Greuther Fürth made this loan move in response to the injury of Nils Körber, their regular substitute goalkeeper, who suffered a muscle injury in the thigh and will be out for an extended period. Sport director Stephan Fürstner explained that with Nils out, they had to react to the position behind Nahuel Noll and found a very good solution with Lennart, who brings a lot of experience and has committed clearly to this role with them.
Lennart Grill is not considered a part of the team at Eintracht Braunschweig anymore and is expected to leave the club.
