Jin-hyun Lee leaving Puszcza Niepołomice?
Jin-hyun Lee has officially transferred to Ulsan Hyundai. According to Łukasz Olkowicz from 'Przegląd Sportowy Onet', the South Korean club triggered the 250,000 euro release clause. Lee had the chance to transfer last summer due to interest from other clubs, but the move did not happen, and he began the current season with Puszcza Niepołomice. Despite not having remarkable statistics, he was a crucial player under the guidance of coach Tomasz Tułacz. The transfer was completed on the last day of December when Ulsan Hyundai activated the release clause after two previous offers were turned down for being below the clause amount.
Jin-hyun Lee is leaving Puszcza Niepołomice after the activation of a release clause in his contract, which was set to expire on June 30, 2025. The announcement was made through the club's official channels. The transfer fee is unspecified. Lee is set to join Ulsan Hyundai, a participant in the upcoming 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where they will face teams like Borussia Dortmund and Fluminense. Despite leaving European football, Lee will have the chance to compete at the highest level.
Jin-hyun Lee may soon conclude his time at Puszcza Niepołomice. Przemysław Langier from Goal.pl indicated that the South Korean player could be targeted by the champion team of his home country, Ulsan HD. Lee joined Puszcza Niepołomice in the winter of this year and has participated in 18 matches in the current Ekstraklasa season, contributing two assists and one more assist in the Polish Cup. His contract with Puszcza is valid until June 30, 2025, and there is a possibility of a clause being activated for his transfer. The transfer fee has not been disclosed yet.
