Leandro Trossard leaving Arsenal?

Leandro Trossard is reportedly in discussions with Arsenal FC regarding a contract extension, as his current contract is set to enter its final year next summer. There had been speculations that Arsenal might sell him if he did not extend his contract. However, recent positive discussions during a training camp in Dubai indicate that both parties are inclined towards extending the contract. Trossard is reportedly aiming for a two-year extension with an option for a third year. It is anticipated that negotiations will become concrete in the coming weeks, with confidence expressed in a positive outcome.

Leandro Trossard has been linked with clubs in the Saudi Pro League. Arsenal might consider selling him for around £15m, especially given his age and the potential decline in value.

Trossard rejected Arsenal's proposal to extend his contract, which runs until 2026, by a year with an option. Negotiations have come to a halt, and if no agreement is reached before the end of the season, Trossard might leave Arsenal in the summer.

Leandro Trossard, who is currently playing for Arsenal, has not been performing well this season, managing only two goals and one assist in fifteen matches. His performance has led to questions about his future at Arsenal, particularly following a red card against Manchester City and a poor pass that resulted in a defeat against Bournemouth. Interest from Saudi Arabia was noted last summer, indicating a possible transfer in the future transfer windows. Nevertheless, Arsenal has opted to retain Trossard and is planning to start talks to extend his contract, with the possibility of offering him a significant salary increase. The club believes in his potential to regain form, especially with the return of key player Martin Ødegaard.

Leandro Trossard is linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League. The potential transfer could generate around 60 million euros for FC Arsenal.

Arsenal are ready to offer Leandro Trossard a new contract at the Emirates Stadium barely a year since the Belgium international attacker arrived from Brighton. Trossard joined the Gunners in January 2023 for a fee of €24 million. Arsenal have scheduled a meeting with Trossard to discuss extending his contract by a year from 2026 to 2027, plus the option of an additional season. Trossard, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €23m, is expected to be rewarded for his fine form with a pay raise in these contract discussions.
