Lazar Romanić Transfer from Železničar Pančevo to Vojvodina
Lazar Romanić has signed a contract with Vojvodina until 2028. Železničar managed to complete the transfer, taking advantage of the last opportunity to earn money before Romanić's contract expired on June 30. Vojvodina's coach, Nenad Lalatović, received a key player for the continuation of the season.
The club from Novi Sad has come to an agreement with Železničar Pančevo for Lazar Romanić, who is set to sign a three and a half year contract with Vojvodina, known as the 'Old Lady' of Serbian football, according to the report by 'Mozzart Sport'. Železničar successfully finalized the transfer deal valued at 500,000 euros, taking the last chance to profit before Romanić's contract was due to expire on June 30. Meanwhile, Vojvodina's coach Nenad Lalatović has secured a vital player for the remainder of the season.
Vojvodina is reportedly interested in acquiring Lazar Romanić as a solution to their forward position challenges. The club had previously considered Romanić, but financial limitations had obstructed the transfer. The player's transfer fee stands at 400,000 euros, and Vojvodina is contemplating offering a percentage of any future sale to complete the transaction. It was earlier mentioned that Partizan was also vying to sign the 26-year-old forward, although neither club was able to meet the financial requirements at that time. With Romanić's contract due to expire in the summer, the upcoming transfer window is seen as the final opportunity for his current club, Železničar, to gain financially from his transfer. Additionally, interest from clubs in Russia and China is reported to add another layer of competition in securing his signature.
