Laros Duarte leaving FC Groningen?

Laros Duarte, a 27-year-old central midfielder, has left Groningen to join Puskas Akademia for just under one million euros. He has signed a contract with the Hungarian club that runs until June 30, 2027. Duarte, who was born in 1997, is a Dutch national with Cape Verdean roots and has made 4 appearances for the national team. Having grown up in the youth sector of Sparta Rotterdam, he played for PSV's U21 team from 2015 to 2019, returned to Sparta, and then moved to Groningen, where he spent three seasons, making 81 appearances with 10 goals and 8 assists.
