Kyosuke Tagawa Transfer from Hearts to Kashima Antlers
Kyosuke Tagawa has returned to Japan to join Kashima Antlers. Head coach Steven Naismith commended the striker for his contributions during his tenure at Tynecastle but acknowledged that he hadn't played as much as desired. Tagawa made 20 appearances and scored three goals, including a notable strike against Rangers last season. Naismith mentioned that the opportunity was too good for the forward to refuse, given the lack of guaranteed playing time. He thanked Kyosuke for his efforts at Hearts and wished him success in the future.
Kyosuke Tagawa looks set to end his stay at Hearts after just a year with an offer from Japanese side Kashima Antlers accepted. The striker is now poised to return to his homeland after struggling for game time in Edinburgh, although he did hit two goals in the last two games of last season. Naismith has confirmed the acceptance of the bid and insists it's best for all parties.
