K. Walker Transfer from Manchester City to Real Madrid

Real Madrid is considering hiring Kyle Walker from Manchester City for half a year, according to Sport. The English right-back has previously informed The Citizens that he wants to leave the club and may have already played his last match for City. Real Madrid sees the need to strengthen their defense after a heavy defeat in the Super Cup final against FC Barcelona. Due to injuries to Carvajal and Eder Militao, Real Madrid lacks a replacement for Lucas Vázquez, who struggled against Raphinha.

According to Tbrfootball, Real Madrid has shown interest in having Walker on loan until the end of the season, when Carvajal is expected to recover and Alexander-Arnold would arrive at Bernabéu. Manchester City reportedly will not create obstacles for Walker's departure, though it's uncertain if they would accept a loan rather than a sale of a player whose contract runs until 2026.

Real Madrid are considered serious contenders for Walker as they are in desperate need of another right-back. Dani Carvajal’s season has been hampered by injury, and Real Madrid have faced frustration in their attempts to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold. Walker is viewed as a quality temporary addition. The 34-year-old defender has reportedly expressed his desire to leave Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola disclosing that Walker had requested to explore options abroad. Despite having 18 months remaining on his contract, Walker's performance has declined, leading to his exclusion from the squad for a recent match. Real Madrid's interest coincides with Walker's preference to move to another European club.
