K. Walker Transfer from Manchester City to Al Ittihad

Kyle Walker has expressed his desire to leave Manchester City this winter. He has been linked with several clubs in Saudi Arabia, including Al-Ittihad.

Al-Ittihad, along with Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli, are interested in signing Kyle Walker, possibly diverting him from a move to Italy.

Kyle Walker has become a significant transfer target for the oil-rich football clubs in Saudi Arabia as the January transfer window approaches. Currently serving as the Manchester City captain, Walker has 18 months remaining on his contract with the club. Despite experiencing a challenging season, Walker expressed that he would not dismiss the possibility of moving to the Middle East. In the past, he had declined such offers in favor of pursuing more trophies under the management of Pep Guardiola. Reports suggest that Al-Ittihad is particularly interested in engaging in discussions with the England defender. However, a potential transfer away from Manchester City seems more plausible in the summer, as Guardiola’s team is currently dealing with a series of injuries.

Kyle Walker is reportedly drawing significant interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League, with Al Ittihad being one of the interested parties. Sources suggest that Manchester City might be willing to let Walker leave, with anticipated offers ranging from €12-15 million. The club is contemplating a replacement for him; however, any decision will hinge on whether the sale aligns with their interests, considering Walker's crucial role as both a player and leader. Walker, who has been an outstanding contributor to Man City, has made over 300 appearances and secured numerous titles since his transfer from Tottenham in 2017. At the age of 34, he might find the lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia appealing, especially as former teammates Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte have already made the move to the region.
