Konstantinos Karetsas, a promising 17-year-old midfielder from Genk, has caught the attention of several prominent European clubs. Among these clubs, Real Madrid is reportedly interested in securing his services. Genk has established a release clause of 40 million euros for Karetsas. Besides Real Madrid, other elite clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich have also expressed interest in the young Belgian talent. Should the transfer proceed for the release clause amount, it would become the most expensive sale in Belgian football history, overtaking the current record held by Charles De Ketelaere's move to Milan for 37.5 million euros.
