Konstantinos Balogiannis Transfer from Botev Plovdiv to Crvena Zvezda

Crvena zvezda is reportedly interested in acquiring Konstantinos Balojanis, a left-back currently playing for Botev Plovdiv. Reports from Bulgarian and Greek media indicate that Zvezda has been keeping a close eye on Balojanis's performances, having observed him at least three times over the past two months. The potential transfer fee, estimated at 300,000, is seen as advantageous for Zvezda. It is reported that Botev Plovdiv is experiencing financial difficulties linked to their Russian owner, prompting them to list Balojanis for transfer. While Crvena zvezda has yet to make a definitive decision regarding their pursuit of Balojanis, as they are considering other options within their youth ranks, there is a possibility that other clubs may express interest given Botev's financial challenges.

The Bulgarian source 'bgberbi.com' reported that Crvena zvezda is showing serious interest in the Greek defender from Botev. Scouts from Crvena zvezda were present at Botev's recent match against Ludogorets to evaluate the player's qualities more thoroughly. The Belgrade club has been following Balojanis's performances for nearly two months. The left-back is a regular player in Dušan Kerkez's team, having participated in 26 matches across all competitions this season, and providing five assists. Balojanis began his career at PAOK and was loaned to Volos before joining OFI from Crete in 2020. He has been with Botev for a year and a half since departing from the Greek championship.
