CSKA Sofia attempted to acquire Kings Kangwa from Hapoel Be'er Sheva, offering around 2 million euros. However, negotiations did not take place as Kangwa had recently joined Hapoel and preferred to stay and perform well in Israel to win the title, according to his agent.
