Ki-Jana Hoever Transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Auxerre
Ki-Jana Hoever, a right-back born in 2002, has joined Auxerre on a dry loan from Wolverhampton. The newly promoted Ligue 1 club announced on its official website that the Dutch Under-21 international is expected to bring speed, strength in duels, and technical quality to the team. Hoever was formed at Ajax Amsterdam before moving to Liverpool, where he was introduced by Jürgen Klopp in January 2019. He played four matches with the Reds before signing for Wolverhampton. After 25 matches with the Wolves, he was subsequently loaned to PSV Eindhoven and then Stoke City. Last season, he played 44 matches in all competitions.
Ki-Jana Hoever has been loaned without a purchase option to Auxerre for one season. The Dutch defender, who is 22 years old, has been loaned multiple times in previous seasons, including stints at PSV Eindhoven and Stoke City.
