Kerem Aktürkoğlu has been in discussions with the Spanish club Real Sociedad for a long time, but no deal has been finalized yet.

There were frequent rumors linking Kerem Aktürkoğlu with Real Sociedad. However, the Spanish press reported that the likelihood of the 25-year-old footballer transferring to Real Sociedad is decreasing.

Kerem Aktürkoğlu has been permitted by Galatasaray to negotiate with Real Sociedad. Although he has also attracted interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, Kerem prefers to continue his career in Europe. Galatasaray expects a transfer fee of around 14 million Euros, but Sociedad is preparing an offer of 9 million Euros.

Real Sociedad and Ajax are very seriously interested in Kerem Aktürkoğlu. The figures discussed are in the range of 12-15 million Euros. Galatasaray's expectation, however, is 20 million Euros with bonuses. It has been decided to definitely keep Yunus Akgün in the team in order not to have problems in the domestic rotation in case of a possible transfer of Kerem.
