Karol Linetty Transfer from Torino to Sampdoria
Karol Linetty, a Polish midfielder with Torino, has indicated he does not intend to renew his contract, which is set to expire in June, and is keen to return to Sampdoria in Genoa. Linetty reportedly has a strong personal connection to Genoa, where he enjoyed successful seasons under coaches Marco Giampaolo and Ranieri, making 132 appearances and scoring 11 goals. His return is contingent upon Sampdoria creating space in their squad by selling other players in his position. Linetty moved to Torino in the summer of 2020 after being transferred from Sampdoria, where he spent four seasons and formed a deep bond with the club, known as the Blucerchiati. As reported by Tuttosport, the player, born in 1995, has interests in Liguria tied to personal activities, which further fuel his desire to return. Nevertheless, Sampdoria currently has several players in Linetty's position, making it necessary for some to leave before his potential return can be realized.
