According to Turkish media HaberTurk, Fenerbahçe is considering taking advantage of the situation and trying to enlist Karim Benzema for the next season. The leaders of the Super Lig runner-up have established the first contact with Karim Benzema on the island of Samos, in Greece. Fenerbahçe's president, Ali Koç, even had a personal interview with Benzema last week. Fenerbahçe would like to bring him in to replace Edin Dzeko, who is not expected to stay in Istanbul.
