Kamil Piątkowski leaving Red Bull Salzburg?
Kamil Piątkowski is set to play for the Turkish club Kasimpasa on loan from Red Bull Salzburg until the end of the season. This move comes following a managerial change at Salzburg. The new coach, Thomas Letsch, reportedly does not have Piątkowski in his plans, prompting the decision to loan him out. Maciej Zieliński from ProSport Manager, who represents Piątkowski, indicated that upon learning from the sports director that Piątkowski would be lower in the defensive lineup, it became evident that securing a club where he could play regularly was necessary, especially considering his national team prospects.
Kamil Piatkowski joins Turkish first division team Kasimpasa on loan until the summer. This decision was made because, despite his desire for a starting position, Red Bull Salzburg could not guarantee him that due to the squad situation. The move aims to provide him with more playing time, which will also benefit his prospects with the Polish national team. He has previously been loaned to Gent in Spring 2023 and Granada in Spring 2024.
US Lecce was the first club interested in Kamil Piątkowski. However, they now face competition from Kasımpaşa for his signature. US Lecce is currently in the relegation zone and is not favored to maintain their position in the league.
According to 'pianetalecce', the Serie A club US Lecce is interested in signing the defender Kamil Piatkowski. However, Piatkowski denies these rumors, stating in an interview with 'Salzburger Nachrichten' that there is no truth to them and he intends to continue playing for Red Bull Salzburg this season.
