Kalvin Phillips has made a temporary move away from Manchester City.

Aston Villa requested Kalvin Phillips to transfer under the guidance of Unai Emery on loan. Both the player and Manchester City declined the loan move. If Phillips leaves Manchester City, it will only be for a suitable offer and a permanent transfer, which the player also prefers.

Kalvin Phillips' future at Manchester City remains uncertain. Pep Guardiola admitted he doesn't know what will happen with him and mentioned that the club is waiting for other clubs to show interest.

Kalvin Phillips has found minutes incredibly tough to come by under Guardiola and, with his 29th birthday coming up later this year, a summer exit is imperative. He looked incredibly short on confidence during a loan spell at West Ham United but whichever club Phillips ends up at will be hopeful of helping him rediscover his best form.
