Junior Eyamba leaving Śląsk Wrocław?
Junior Eyamba, who was previously under contract with Śląsk Wrocław, had his contract terminated after failing to make an impact due to injuries and a lack of form. He is now trying to secure a position with FC Aarau, a Swiss second division team. Eyamba is currently with FC Aarau during their training camp in Turkey, and if he impresses the coaching staff, he will be offered a contract.
Junior Eyamba, who joined Śląsk Wrocław after their runner-up finish, has been released by the club. Despite initial hopes, he failed to score or assist in his limited 77 minutes of playtime over three appearances. His departure marks the first transfer decision under the new sports director, Rafał Grodzicki, as the club struggles near the bottom of the league table.
Junior Eyamba, who made a move from Young Boys U21 to Śląsk Wrocław without incurring a transfer fee, is expected to depart from the club shortly. The transfer was originally deemed low-risk, as Eyamba's earnings were less than ten thousand euros, a typical figure for players on the cusp between first and second teams. Although he played in the reserves for Young Boys, he did not receive much playing time at Śląsk, participating in only three matches with the first team. The club is planning to release five to six players who have not met performance expectations, with Eyamba set to be the first to exit. He had signed a two-year contract with Śląsk, which included an option for a third year.
