It was revealed that an individual had been impersonating Benjamin Kessel, the director of football at Brunswick, in an attempt to defraud various Ligue 2 clubs by presenting fake contracts bearing the club's logo and signature and demanding 10,000 euros for a medical examination. The club is aware of the scam and intends to file a complaint.
