Juanmi leaving Real Betis?

Real Betis is seeking to offload Juanmi in the winter market due to his unsatisfactory performance and high salary. He extended his contract in January 2023 by two years, which now ends in June 2026, to spread out his salary costs.

Real Betis is considering the possibility of transferring Juanmi in the upcoming winter transfer market due to his reduced role within the team this season. Although he has participated in seven matches, including three as a starter, Juanmi has neither scored nor assisted, which has led to speculation about his future with the team. The addition of Ez Abde last season and the impressive performances of players like Vitor Roque have contributed to Juanmi's lower ranking in the squad hierarchy. With Isco anticipated to return from injury in December or January, Juanmi's opportunities for playing time may further diminish. The club has expressed its willingness to sell him in January if an offer that aligns with Betis's financial requirements is presented.

Real Betis is considering offloading players like Juanmi to make room for new signings as they have only one available spot left in the squad.

Juanmi is considered to be a part of the current squad and is expected to stay under the management of Pellegrini for the upcoming season, after being loaned out to Arabia and Cádiz CF last season.

Juanmi will go to the first preseason stage in Austria but is not in the plans of Manuel Pellegrini.

Juanmi's return could lead to new departures due to the arrivals of Chimy Ávila and Bakambu.
