Juan Miranda leaving Real Betis?

Juan Miranda left Betis on a free transfer after four seasons in Seville. He was on Andoni Zubizarreta's list to strengthen the left side of FC Porto's defense. In the next season, the Spanish left-back will play in the Champions League, as the Italian club finished fifth in the league and secured direct qualification for the 2024/25 group stage. The defender, who was trained at Barcelona, played 32 matches last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists, helping his former team reach seventh place in La Liga, which grants access to the Conference League.

Juan Miranda has joined Bologna FC 1909 after being released on a free transfer from Real Betis. He has undergone medical examinations and tests required for the contract signing.

Juan Miranda, whose contract expires on June 30, has arrived in Italy this morning for medical examinations. Once final details are settled, the official signing will take place.

Miranda's contract with Betis ends on June 30 and has not been renewed.

Miranda's contract is expiring and no economic agreement has been reached for renewal.

There were exit options in winter, and a renewal was negotiated but never reached. The club believes his performance does not match his salary demands.
