Juan Manuel Elordi Transfer from Racing Club to Rosario Central
Juan Manuel Elordi, a left-back, has signed a contract with Rosario Central and has already joined their pre-season. He comes from Racing Club, where he played the last six months with limited opportunities (seven games, only three as a starter). He joins to compete for a position with Agustín Sández after the technical staff decided to do without Paraguayan Alan Rodríguez.
Juan Manuel Elordi, a left-back who has found himself out of favor with Racing Club's coach, Gustavo Costas, is in negotiations to join Rosario Central on loan with an option to buy. The negotiations have already begun between the management of Rosario Central and Racing Club, led by Gonzalo Belloso and Diego Milito, respectively. Although there are still some differences to be ironed out, there is optimism at Rosario Central.
Juan Manuel Elordi is seen as a significant option to strengthen Rosario Central's left defense. He started 2024 playing for Delfín in Ecuador, where he participated in 21 official matches and scored three goals. Subsequently, he returned to Racing Club, where he played seven matches, starting in three of them. The 30-year-old left-back from Saladillo is now considered an important possibility for Rosario Central as they aim to enhance their squad for the upcoming tournament.
