Former Premier League star Paolo Di Canio has indicated that Manchester United might consider loaning out Joshua Zirkzee due to his unsatisfactory performances. Di Canio noted that Zirkzee is perceived as too slow for the Premier League, and despite having recently signed him, Manchester United could potentially loan him out. Zirkzee joined Manchester United from Bologna and has since struggled to score, impacting the team's performance in both the Premier League and Europa League. Di Canio suggested that Zirkzee might benefit from a move away from Old Trafford, possibly to a club like Juventus, where he could provide a different style of play compared to their current strikers.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag might be willing to give up on Joshua Zirkzee and seek to replace the striker during the January transfer window. Zirkzee arrived at Old Trafford from Bologna in the summer in a deal worth €42.5 million but has had disappointing performances, scoring only once. United could hope to recoup around €35.3m, which is Zirkzee's Estimated Transfer Value (ETV).
