Liverpool are expected to beat Barcelona to the signature of Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich because of their ability to offer a higher wage packet to the Germany international.

Joshua Kimmich, who has one year left on his contract with Bayern Munich, has attracted interest from Liverpool. However, Kimmich prefers a move to Manchester City.

Joshua Kimmich has a contract with Bayern Munich until the end of next summer and is not entirely enthusiastic about signing a new one. Bayern is ready to react and could sell him for 50 million euros this summer. Kimmich has a list of clubs he would leave Bayern for, including Liverpool.

Joshua Kimmich would like to join one of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Barcelona or Real Madrid, with an exit from Bayern Munich becoming 'increasingly likely'. Kimmich's contract at the Allianz Arena is set to expire in 2025. Bayern are open to selling him this summer in order to recoup any sort of transfer fee.
