Pozo, the 28-year-old attacking midfielder, is leaving Rayo after six seasons. He has played a hundred matches and scored eleven goals in total. However, he has been losing his place in the team and went from playing 31 matches in the first season (2018-19) to six in the last (2023-24). In the first year with Iraola in Segunda (2020-21), he participated in 19 regular league matches, one playoff, and two Copa matches, but the promotion gradually reduced his prominence. After seven matches and one goal in 2021-22, he decided to go on loan in the winter market to Al-Ahli. However, little or nothing changed upon his return. He is now looking to try his luck away from the neighbourhood.
