Clubs in Italy and Saudi Arabia were keen on the 32-year-old, with the player himself admitting that he would be open to a lucrative switch to the Middle East. However, in the end, Arsenal prevailed and managed to extend the midfielder's deal by a further season.

There's a proposed offer of 30 million euros per year for him to play in Saudi Arabia. Jorginho has shown interest in the offer and is open to concrete proposals.
