Villarreal has officially announced the sale of Jorge Cuenca to Fulham. The sale was closed for 6.7 million euros plus 1.5 million euros in variables. Barcelona will receive approximately 1.3 million euros from this transfer as they had reserved 20 percent of a future sale when they transferred Cuenca to Villarreal in 2020.
The Villarreal football club confirmed the transfer of defender Jorge Cuenca to Fulham of England. The operation had already been announced and recognized by the director of football, Miguel Ángel Tena, last Thursday. Cuenca had only one year left on his contract with Villarreal.
