John Victor, a 28-year-old goalkeeper from Botafogo, Brazil, has been suggested to Galatasaray as a potential replacement for Muslera. With a market value of 7 million Euro, Victor has achieved significant success, winning the Libertadores with his team and maintaining a clean sheet in 3 out of 10 matches while conceding 10 goals. In the league, he managed to keep a clean sheet in 16 out of 34 matches, conceding 25 goals. The anticipated transfer fee is expected to range between 5-6 million Euro. Galatasaray, preparing for Muslera's expected departure at the end of the season, received this proposal from South America as they actively seek a successor for the legendary Uruguayan goalkeeper. Muslera's contract is set to expire on June 30, 2025, and there are rumors suggesting he wishes to return to Uruguay. Victor, who is 1.97 meters tall, is considered a prospective candidate to assume this role. Although there is interest in Werder Bremen's Michael Zetterer, Victor has emerged as a strong contender.
