Johann Lepenant has officially joined Nantes on loan from Olympique Lyonnais. The loan includes an automatic purchase option set at 2.5 million euros, contingent upon Nantes maintaining title hopes and the player participating in a certain number of matches. Lepenant joined OL in June 2022 after five seasons with Stade Malherbe de Caen, making 40 appearances and scoring one goal. He has a contract with OL until June 30, 2027.

Nantes is very interested in acquiring Johann Lepenant on loan with an option to buy, covering 50% of his salary. Lyon, despite being willing to sell, is currently not inclined to accept the offer. Nantes might come back with a new offer soon.
