Josip Matip is in the sights of Lazio and Roma. The Liverpool defender, born in 1991, could become a low-cost but reliable and experienced market target for both Roman teams to reinforce the squad. His contract with the Reds will expire on June 30th and he has already communicated that he does not intend to find renewal agreements. Hence, a market derby could be triggered for him. Matip is coming from a complicated season. After a serious knee ligament injury, he only made 10 appearances this year, but next he wants to relaunch himself because he feels he can still play some important cards at the end of his career.
