Tigres has confirmed the signing of Brazilian center-back Joaquim, who was previously a target for Olympiacos. The 25-year-old was transferred from Santos to the Mexican club for around 7.4 million euros. Tigres will cover 4.6 million euros of this fee, with 1.4 million euros paid upfront and the remaining amount spread over three installments across the next three years. Additionally, Santos had an existing debt of 2.8 million euros to Tigres from an earlier transfer of Soteldo, which Tigres has effectively written off to complete this deal.
