João Neves Transfer from Benfica to Manchester City

Manchester City is closely monitoring the situation of João Neves.

Benfica are under pressure to sell Joao Neves, who is wanted by Manchester City. Manchester City has been using Bernardo Silva to act as an agent to broker a deal, possibly giving them an advantage over Arsenal and Manchester United. Neves is frustrated with Benfica's offer of a new deal with an increased salary and a release fee of €150m, which he finds considerably lower than some of Benfica’s biggest earners. He is unlikely to return to the negotiating table.

Bernardo Silva has urged João Neves to join him at Manchester City. He stated that he would like to have Neves by his side and that he doesn't need to convince manager Pep Guardiola. However, he acknowledged that Neves won't be a cheap player and it won't be easy to enter the race for him.

Bernardo Silva mentioned the interest of Manchester City in João Neves and expressed his desire for Neves to join the club. He stated that many clubs want Neves due to his successful last season. However, he does not have any 'privileged information' and believes that Neves will have a great future ahead if he continues with the energy he has shown.

Bernardo Silva has revealed that he is trying to recruit Joao Neves for Manchester City. Benfica will insist on his €120 million release clause being triggered.

Benfica is resisting the interest of some of the main European clubs, especially from the Premier League, where information continues to arrive about Manchester City as potential buyers of the young midfielder's pass. The price set for the player is €120 million.

João Neves, a 19-year-old international Portuguese midfielder, is being tracked by major Premier League clubs. He has a contract until 2028 and a millionaire termination clause of €150 million. Benfica will only accept to sell him for amounts that reach €100 million.
