João Carlos's contract with Estoril was supposed to end on the 30th, but both parties agreed to an early termination. The player is desired in the B and C Series of his country. The player and his representative have been contacted by clubs from the B and C Series of Brazilian football. The player will leave this summer at no cost.

João Carlos, a 29-year-old forward, will be playing his last match for Estoril. His contract is ending and there is no invitation for renewal. Despite not being able to become the first choice for the striker position, his professionalism is highly recognized. He was loaned to Académica in 21/22 where he became the top scorer of the competition which generated some market interest. However, he ended up not leaving and returned to Estoril to strengthen the offensive contingent and played a total of 50 matches in the last two seasons with seven goals, five of them as a substitute. His next destination is not yet known and will only be defined in the coming weeks.
