Cercle Brugge has announced the departure of their key player Jesper Daland on official channels. The Norwegian defender, after three seasons in Belgium, will move to Championship club Cardiff City. Cardiff City also confirmed the transfer. Daland played a total of 118 matches for Cercle Brugge, scoring four times and providing four assists. The Norwegian expressed that he felt ready for a new challenge. Despite his contract expiring next year, Cercle Brugge received a significant fee of around four million euros. Daland signed a contract in Wales with Cardiff City until 2028.
