Jeremy Agbonifo, a 19-year-old Swedish winger, has officially joined RC Lens from Häcken. The transfer is a six-month loan with an option to buy, estimated between 6.5 and 7.5 million euros. The option to buy will be automatically exercised if RC Lens maintains their league position.
L'Équipe reports on the transfer of Jeremy Agbonifo to RC Lens. Jeremy Agbonifo, a young Swedish winger, is set to join RC Lens. Initially planned as a direct transfer worth 7.5 million euros, the deal has evolved into a loan with an obligation to purchase if RC Lens maintains its position in Ligue 1. Agbonifo has signed his contract and will be on loan, subsequently being tied to Lens until June 2028.
Lens is preparing to acquire Jeremy Agbonifo, a promising 19-year-old Swedish winger from Häcken, for a transfer fee of 7.5 million euros. Following the completion of his medical examination, Agbonifo is expected to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with Lens. According to the Swedish press, Lens's management has reached an agreement with Häcken's officials for this transfer. Agbonifo, known for being a left-footed winger trained at Häcken, had also spent time with FC Porto's youth teams between the summer of 2021 and February 2024 before returning to his original club. He participated in 13 matches in the Swedish Championship during the latter part of the previous season, which reportedly impressed Lens's management.
