The potential transfer of Jaroslaw Niezgoda to Asteras Tripolis will not proceed.

Jaroslaw Niezgoda, a 29-year-old Polish striker, has been a free agent since January 2024 after departing from Portland Timbers of the MLS. During his tenure with Portland, he made 94 appearances, scored 23 goals, and provided 8 assists. Prior to that, he played for Legia Warsaw from January 2016 to January 2020, where he netted 29 goals and contributed 6 assists in 60 matches, winning four championships and one cup. He was also loaned to Ruch Chorzow for the 2016-17 season, during which he scored 10 goals and made 4 assists in 28 games. Currently, Niezgoda is in Tripoli, with Claude Makélélé set to make the final decision on his potential acquisition by Asteras Tripolis.
