An agreement is almost reached between Salernitana and Catanzaro for Vandeputte, who has had important seasons with the yellow-red jersey. The operation is quite costly and is being conducted in competition with Palermo. Catanzaro would receive 2.5 million euros plus bonuses if Salernitana is promoted to Serie A.

Salernitana has shown strong interest in Jari Vandeputte and is close to completing the transfer for a fee of three million euros.
