Jan Mlakar leaving Pisa?
Jan Mlakar is expected to return to Poljud any moment now after completing his final obligations with Pisa.
The Slovenian footballer, born in 1998, is said to be nearing a return to Hajduk Spalato, a team now managed by Gennaro Gattuso, where he played during the 2021/22 to 2023/24 seasons before moving to Pisa. Reports indicate that the Croatian club has reached an agreement with Pisa for a loan transfer lasting until the season's end. It has been reported that the player's salary, approximately half a million, will be covered by both clubs. Mlakar made a favorable impression at Hajduk, having scored 21 goals in 81 matches and showcasing excellent collaboration with striker Marko Livaja, who is presently the club's leading scorer with 10 goals. According to Gattuso, Mlakar would enhance the team's quality as they pursue the championship.
