J. Leweling leaving VfB Stuttgart?

Jamie Leweling is reported to have a release clause in his contract valued at 20 to 25 million Euros. VfB Stuttgart's sporting director, Fabian Wohlgemuth, did not confirm or deny this clause when asked by Sky. He mentioned that the existence of such clauses indicates that the club is still catching up to compete with bigger clubs.

A number of top Premier League sides are tracking Jamie Leweling's development at Stuttgart, with a release clause of €25m coming into effect next summer.

Jamie Leweling, known for his impressive performances in the Bundesliga and recent inclusion in the German national team, is drawing attention from a number of clubs, especially leading Premier League teams. It is expected that these clubs might trigger a release clause in his contract to finalize his transfer once the season concludes. The transfer fee is estimated to be between 20 to 25 million euros, depending on the league affiliation and European competition status of the interested club. Leweling made a permanent move to VfB Stuttgart for 6 million euros after a loan spell from Union Berlin last season. His contract with Stuttgart is valid until 2028.

VfB Stuttgart has a purchase option for Jamie Leweling, on loan from Union Berlin, for five million euros. While Leweling wants to stay in Stuttgart, the bosses are unsure whether he is really worth the money.
