Jamal Amofa Transfer from Go Ahead Eagles to SC Heerenveen

Jamal Amofa wanted to transfer to SC Heerenveen after extending his contract with Go Ahead Eagles last summer. However, Go Ahead Eagles decided not to cooperate with the transfer. Amofa has been given permission to look for another employer after being left out of the selection due to a recent conviction for partner violence. His contract with Go Ahead Eagles lasts until the summer of 2027.

Jamal Amofa has been interested by sc Heerenveen. He was recently sentenced to community service for assaulting his partner and was subsequently removed from the squad.

Jamal Amofa is reportedly on the verge of a transfer within the Eredivisie, with sc Heerenveen expressing interest in the 26-year-old defender from Go Ahead Eagles. Amofa has not participated in any matches since August 18, as coach Paul Simonis sidelined him following Go Ahead's defeats in the first two games of the Eredivisie season. A departure during the winter transfer window appears to be a probable outcome. Heerenveen's interest is deemed unsurprising, considering their previous interest last summer, which has been renewed due to Pawel Bochniewicz's injury. Go Ahead is willing to let Amofa leave, although clubs wishing to secure him on loan are required to agree to a mandatory purchase option. However, Amofa's representatives are inclined towards a non-mandatory option.
