Jaime Vázquez Transfer from Real Oviedo II to Celta de Vigo
Jaime Vázquez, a left-footed central defender currently in his final year as a youth player at Real Oviedo, is set to join Celta de Vigo on loan until the end of the season. He will be part of Celta Fortuna, the reserve team that competes in the Primera RFEF. Prior to moving to Vigo, he extended his contract with Real Oviedo until 2027. The club announced that Celta has an option to purchase him. Vázquez, an 18-year-old from Avilés, advanced through the youth systems at Sporting and Real Madrid before signing with Real Oviedo in 2023. He has participated in the first team since the preseason, appearing in six matches in the current second division season, four of which he started, and has also played seven games with Vetusta, Real Oviedo's reserve team in the third division. This transfer represents the second recent deal between Real Oviedo and Celta de Vigo, following Carlos Dotor's loan move to Real Oviedo.
