Aston Villa has re-signed the English winger Jaden Philogene from Hull City less than a year after selling him to the Championship club. The 22-year-old player signed a five-year contract, with the transfer fee reported to be around 21 million euros according to the BBC.
Jaden Philogene was offered to FC Barcelona this summer to reinforce their attack, but the club had other priorities and discarded his incorporation. After many rumors linking him to various Premier League teams, Philogene ended his stint at Hull City and signed with Aston Villa for the next five seasons.
Aston Villa brings back Jaden Philogene-Bidace after selling him last summer to Hull City for 5.8 million euros. They are now paying almost three times the amount (16 million euros) to have him available for the next season under Unai Emery.
