Al Ittifaq is set to welcome another reinforcement from Italy with the arrival of defender Ivan De Santis from Taranto. Total agreement on all terms has been reached, with a contract until June plus an option. Only the final formalities remain before signing and announcements.

Ivan De Santis, a central defender born in 1997, currently plays for Taranto. Due to the challenging sports situation at Taranto, he has attracted interest from three Serie C clubs: Arzignano Valchiampo, Campobasso, and Carpi. De Santis has made 30 appearances for Taranto and previously played for clubs including Paganese, Monopoli, Ascoli, Virtus Entella, Modena, Cesena, Fermana, and Catania.
