Ivan Brnić leaving Olympiakos Piraeus?

Sportske Novosti reported on Ivan Brnić's transfer to Basaksehir for 1.3 million euros. Ivan Brnić was transferred to Basaksehir for a fee of 1.3 million euros. Although formally signed from Olympiacos, Brnić had spent the previous autumn on loan at Celje. Basaksehir decided to acquire him after being impressed by his performance last season, during which he scored a goal and provided an assist against them. Brnić signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Basaksehir. His agent, Vincenzo Cavaliere, initially offered him to Hajduk, who declined, believing he was not the player they needed.

Ivan Brnic is set to continue his career at Basaksehir, as reported by the Turkish team. It was revealed that an agreement between all involved parties was reached a few days ago, and the formalities were finalized today, resulting in the 23-year-old Croatian winger signing a 3.5-year contract. During his tenure at Olympiacos, which he joined in the summer of 2023 from Maribor for 1.3 million euros, he managed only four appearances for the first team and an additional seven for the second team. This season, he began playing on loan at Celje, but the loan was prematurely terminated to enable his transfer. While at Celje, he made 27 appearances, scored six goals, and provided three assists over more than 1,684 minutes.

A Turkish publication has reported that Basaksehir has come to an agreement with Ivan Brnic and is interested in acquiring him from Olympiakos. The player is currently on loan at Celje for the season, with the loan agreement set to expire in the upcoming summer. Notably, credible journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu reported that Basaksehir has reached an understanding with Ivan Brnic and is eager to secure him from Olympiakos. For the transfer to proceed, the loan with the Slovenian team must first be concluded, followed by an agreement between Basaksehir and the "red and whites." Brnic is under contract with Olympiakos until the summer of 2027, having been acquired from Maribor for 1.3 million euros in the summer of 2023.
