Olympique Lyon made a new move to acquire İsmail Yüksek, who has been performing at a high level with both Fenerbahçe and the A National Team this season. Lyon has previously sat down with Fenerbahçe's management in January to discuss the transfer. Recently, Lyon made an offer of 12 million euros (approximately 417 million TL) plus bonuses. However, this offer was rejected by Fenerbahçe's management, as they had done with the previous 8 million euro + bonuses offer made by Lyon during the winter break. Fenerbahçe's management reportedly demands a minimum fee of 20 million euros for İsmail Yüksek. They are holding out on selling him in anticipation of his value increasing after his expected participation in the starting line-up of the A National Team in EURO 2024, which will be held in Germany. İsmail Yüksek has a contract with Fenerbahçe until 2027.
